The SC4 series is the established predecessor generation of the current SC3x series and has been used successfully for years in safety-critical applications.
For new projects and future applications, we recommend switching to the SC3x series - our state-of-the-art, certified platform with current approval in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and EN ISO 13851.
Force-free actuation - ergonomic & safe
The SC4 switches work capacitively - reliably and without force. This is easy on joints, reduces strain and is ideal for high switching frequencies. Operation with gloves is possible without any problems.
Extremely durable - built for tough industrial use
The sensors are fully encapsulated (IP67K), resistant to moisture, oil, dust and mechanical stress. With several hundred million switching cycles, the SC4 series is a durable solution for continuous use.
