SCHALTBAU NORTH AMERICA IS APPOINTED AS SALES PARTNER FOR CAPTRON SENSORS

News 01.04.2017: We are very proud to announce that SCHALTBAU North America, a world-leading supplier for Rolling Stock and Rail Infrastructure products, has joined the CAPTRON team as a sales partner.

Effective immediately the subsidiary of the Schaltbau Group based in Hauppauge, New York, will distribute CAPTRON sensors and systems to customers in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

In particular, the technical team from Schaltbau North America will be the local contact for CAPTRON products targeted at the traffic and transport industry. Together with Schaltbau, CAPTRON develops reliable and high-quality solutions for the special needs and applications of our customers.

Schaltbau North America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Schaltbau GmbH, was established in 2001 to support the North American customer base for products that include contactors, snap-action switches, connectors and electro-mechanical systems for railway applications. Based in Hauppauge NY, Schaltbau North America provides technical support, engineering services, manufacturing, and distribution of components that allow its customers to develop safer and more reliable systems.

Schaltbau North America’s parent company was established over 80 years ago in Munich and continues to maintain engineering, manufacturing and assembly facilities for all its products at two locations in Germany that are certified to the highest quality standards including ISO and IRIS.
